Join us on Saturday, April 26th, from 10:00 a.m. - 1:00 p.m. and help us keep the Slate Belt beautiful! ​Slate Belt Rising is once again partnering with State Representative Ann Flood to organize this regional clean-up event!

This year, teams will be formed in 8 municipalities, and we need your help! Fill out the form below to register. Volunteers will be supplied with all materials, including garbage bags, work gloves, safety vests, grabbers, etc. Participating municipalities are Wind Gap, Bangor, Pen Argyl, Portland, East Bangor, Upper Mount Bethel, Plainfield, and Washington.

Closer to the event date, an email will be sent to all volunteers explaining where to meet on the day of and where they will be picking up. We recommend that volunteers arrive between 9:15 and 9:30 a.m. on April 26th to receive supplies and wear comfortable clothes and sneakers. Supplies will be provided such as safety vests, garbage bags, and gloves. Litter grabbers will also be available on a first come first serve basis. Volunteers are encouraged to bring their own grabbers if you have one.
